The Dementia Brain Bank of Seoul National University Hospital honors the noble intentions of donors who have practiced the noble sharing of life, and offers the following honors and support with deep gratitude to bereaved families.

Funeral Expense Subsidy for Bereaved Families

In honor of the donor's noble intentions, we provide a funeral expense subsidy to console the grief of bereaved families and offer practical assistance with funeral procedures. (Fetuses and children are not eligible for the funeral expense subsidy.)

Body received by family after autopsy

A set funeral expense subsidy is provided

Cremated after autopsy, then received by family

Cremation procedures supported (no separate funeral expense subsidy)

Cremated after autopsy → scattering of ashes

Cremation and scattering of ashes supported (no separate funeral expense subsidy)
